These activities may be more appropriate for students who have previously taken "People, Data, Things and Ideas." This ACTIVITY needs to be preceded with a discussion on the concepts of CAREER planning and the importance of self- ASSESSMENT in the process. As with all interest inventories, this is not a test to tell anyone what they should or should not choose for an occupation. Interest inventories and activities are tools to help students organize and clarify their perceptions about themselves. The following ACTIVITY is based on the GUIDE for Occupational Exploration originally published by the Department of Labor.
