46 CHAPTER 6: CHALLENGES OFCOLLABORATION Despite the numerous benefits ofparticipation discussed above, individual trusts werefrustrated by a number of CHALLENGES facing theirrespective collaborative efforts. Finding resourcesto keep the group afloat, such as time , funding, andenergy, as well as distributing them, was one area ofcritical concern. Second, finding a successfulorganizational structure for the effort, given thediversity of organizations and people present, wasanother important area of consideration. Third,cementing a group vision, one that did not pullparticipating organizations away from their originalmissions, was also key (Table 6). (Again, it must benoted that the order in which these findings arepresented does not reflect any hierarchy ofimportance or frequency of discussion.)
