202 CHAPTER 9 summary , CONCLUSIONS AND recommendations summary Throughout the study, material management for the small scale electrical industry has been analyzed and described. This study was done in an effort to improve the current material management practices for the construction industry. CHAPTER 1 presented the research objective. This CHAPTER presented a description of the problem statement, the objective of the research, the justification for the research, the methodology for the research work, relevance of this work to the small scale electrical industry and the limitations of this study. CHAPTER 2 presented a general introduction to material management in small scale industry. This CHAPTER defined what a material management system is, why is important to have a material management system and the advantages of having it. CHAPTER 3 presented the current state of knowledge in material management for industry.
