Unfortunately, we are living in a society that, in general, does not like the word commitment. That is all the more reason why CHURCH members need to review regularly the COVENANT into which they entered when they became CHURCH members. Synonyms for COVENANT are: allegiance , dedication , faithfulness , etc. For the local CHURCH to survive and thrive it must have members who take seriously their commitment to Jesus Christ, His CHURCH and to one another. Therefore, a review of the CHURCH COVENANT should be whole-heartedly welcomed and embraced by serious minded saints.
