Observations reveal that the earth is getting warmer and mean global temperature keeps on rising annually.
1. Demand-side options: reduce energy consumption while maintaining the level of service desired by the user; 2. Supply-side options: increase energy-conversion efficiencies, or replace fossil fuels with renewable energy; and 3. Development of sinks, such as afforestation and sustainable forest
