The significant changes finalised for incorporation in the proposed Revision include: 1. Incorporation of all existing seven amendments. 2. Revision of definition of Packaged drinking water to make it broaden its scope. 3. Revision of limits of Barium, Cadmium, and arsenic. 4. Marking on water, not meant for human consumption has been prescribed in clause 8 of the F draft. 5. Locational requirements of a Packaged Drinking Water processor have been modified in Clause B- . of the F draft. A copy of the draft is enclosed for reference of all concerned. ROs, BOs, SBOs are requested to inform the water processing units, their associations and all other stakeholders etc about the proposed changes.
