The purpose of this Change Request (CR) is to manualize policies in the calendar year 2015 Home Health P rospective Payment System Final Rule published on November 6, 2014, in which the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services finalized clarifications and revisions to policies regarding physician certification and recertification of patient eligibility for Medicare home health services.
The Medicare Administrative Contractor is hereby advised that this constitutes technical direction as defined in your contract. CMS does not construe this as a change to the MAC Statement of Work.
