For the last decade,much of this research has been focused in the area of metallocene catalysis , which has been atthe front line in driving important technologyrenewal in the polyolefins industry. Developmentsin metallocene catalysis have instigated muchtrade press discussion, and now emerging non- metallocene catalyst systems are adding newscope to the industry dialog. Announcements continue to flow in the trade press about theindustry s latest new catalyst discoveries.
