Consulate General of Italy - Johannesburg visa Application Procedure The Consulate General of Italy , in its continuing effort to provide a speedy and efficient visa issuance service, kindly requests you to read the following instructions carefully. Please note that Visas can take up to one month to be issued in peak periods. An appointment must be made for each application. For example a family of five (father, mother and three children) must have five appointments. This office is not authorised to make photocopies. Each application must have its own set of supporting documents if more than one application is submitted. 1. Submission A visa application may be submitted personally by a traveller or personally by the travel agent who dealt with the traveller(s).
