COVID-19 Protection Framework Guidelines for places of worship Updated 9th February 2022 2 The COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights) outlines the settings being used in New Zealand to manage COVID-19 . It has three settings Green, Orange and Red. This guidance is provided to support places of worship to operate safely. It is correct as at 9th February 2022 It outlines the minimum measures that need to be applied to places of worship under the three settings of the COVID-19 Protection Framework . Places of worship are also encouraged to consider what additional measures they may want to put in place that suit their communities. This guidance will be updated over the coming weeks and months as the government response to COVID-19 continues to evolve.
Serving food and drink Remember If your place of worship runs a café, you need to apply the rules for these activities. Detailed guidance on the rules for food and drink activities is here COVID-19 Protection Framework — business.govt.nz If you are operating as a gathering, you can serve food and drink at green, orange or red.
