Proper management of deadbirds is vital from the standpoint of avoiding nuisancecomplaints. The frequency of pick-up, methods of holdingand ultimate Disposal of carcasses are easy operations forneighbors and regulatory personnel to visually monitor. Itonly takes a relatively small, individual problem to createadditional burdens for all Poultry Disposal of dead Poultry is an increasingly complexproblem for Texas poultrymen. Recent Texas legislation hasmade it the responsibility of each producer to adopt andmaintain an environmentally sound method of dead birddisposal. Senate Bill 1910 regulates the utilization anddisposal of on-farm mortalities.
