August 30, 2011 Dear FIERCE supporter , On Saturday, October 22nd 2011, FIERCE will proudly present the FIERCELY Supernatural InvinciBowl, our 4th annual Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser! We are thrilled to be reaching out to you about sponsoring our event and supporting FIERCE . FIERCE is a membership-based organization building the leadership and power of LGBTQ youth of color in New York City. Since 2000, we ve been developing politically conscious leaders who are invested in improving ourselves and our communities through youth-led campaigns, leadership development programs, and cultural expression through arts and media. The bowl-a-thon is a much-anticipated youth-organized grassroots fundraising event that brings together over 200 FIERCE members and community members who form teams to raise $30,000 to support FIERCE .
