This bill would significantly strengthen the OIG s efforts to prevent fraud in VA s education and training programs. My statement on behalf of the OIG discusses our recent oversight of these programs and provides examples of criminal fraud schemes that could have been prevented or mitigated by the draft bill s provisions.
