JOB TITLE: Design Engineer CLASSIFICATION: Exempt DEPARTMENT: Engineering REPORTING TO: Engineering Design Supervisor MANAGERIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR: NA LOCATION: Corporate Office PURPOSE: Design robust, high quality spent nuclear fuel and irradiated material storage, transport and handling systems and components. Integrate the physical Design requirements (structural, thermal, shielding, criticality and operations) and manufacturing aspects of all hardware development to produce designs that meet all applicable requirements for the form, fit and function.
