In this work, Models and tools for two different aspectsof numerical fire Simulation have been developed. In the first part of thework, an engineering tool for probabilistic fire risk assessment has beendeveloped. The tool can be used to perform Monte Carlo simulations offires and is called Probabilistic Fire Simulator (PFS). By the use of theTwo-Model Monte Carlo (TMMC) technique, developed in this work, thecomputational cost of the Simulation can be reduced significantly bycombining the results of two different the second part of the work, a numerical solver for thermalradiation has been developed for the Fire dynamics Simulator code.
