DoD AI Education Strategy
DoD AI Education Strategy UNCLASSIFIED The Department of Defense (DoD) is in the midst of a historic technological transformation. With guidance from the DoD AI Strategy and the Digital Modernization Strategy , DoD will apply technological innovations to transform all functions of the Department, thereby supporting and protecting servicemembers, safeguarding citizens, defending allies and partners, and improving the affordability, effectiveness, and speed of our operations. As part of this broader technological transformation, there is a strategic imperative for the Department to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) at speed and at scale. The future of AI in the DoD relies on the Department s ability to build and develop a workforce for the digital era. AI is a human-centric endeavor developed by people, for people and because humans will ultimately make the decisions that are informed by AI capabilities, an AI ready force is essential to delivering AI at scale.
