Some exceptions apply when exchanging a Licence from another jurisdiction. For more information, refer to the web page Driver s Licences for New Residents. Test results are valid for 6 months. Any Licence issuance or upgrade must be completed within six (6) months of starting the process. Test Type Minimum Age Requirements Written Test -Tractor Trailer (Class 1) 18 Valid NB Driver s Licence Class 5 or higher Medical Fitness Report Completed within the past 6 months Written Test Bus (Class 2), with or without the School Bus (B) endorsement 18 Valid NB Driver s Licence Class 5 or higher Medical Fitness Report Completed within the past 6 months Must be 21 years old to apply for School Bus (Endorsement B) Licence Written Test 3 Axle Truck (Class 3) 18 Valid NB Driver s Licence Class 5 or hi
