• Code division multiple access (CDMA): Many channels occupies the same frequency band, at the same time. However, each channel occupies a different “code channel”. Like sinusoids at different frequencies are orthogonal (non-interfering), sets of code signals can also be made so that all code signals are orthogonal to each other.
