Mandatory Diversion SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT Recovery FacilityDiversion Targets WASTE diversion shall refer to activities which reduce or eliminate the amount of SOLID wastes from WASTE disposal facilities; (5)yearsaftertheeffectivityofthisAct;the LGUshalldivertatleast25%ofallsolidwastef romwastedisposalfacilitiesthroughre-use, recycling,andcompostingactivitiesandothe rresourcerecoveryactivities:Provided,Tha tthewastediversiongoalsshallbeincreasede verythree(3)yearsthereafter10-Year SOLID WasteManagement PlanAs of June 2019 Section 16. Local Government SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT province, city or municipality, through its local SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT boards, shall prepare its respective 10-year SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT plans consistent with the 19 National SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT Framework: Provided, That the WASTE MANAGEMENT plan shall be for the re-use, recycling and composting of wastes generated in their respective jurisdictions: Provided, further, That the SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT plan of the LGU shall ensure the efficient MANAGEMENT of SOLID WASTE generated within its jurisdiction.
