She/He can either start a business or buy an existing business. Entrepreneurs work for themselves and create their own jobs. An entrepreneur takes a calculated risk by investing money in a business opportunity in order to make a profit. They are people who can identify opportunities and have the skills to turn an opportunity into a successful venture. What does it take to be an entrepreneur? It takes certain skills and personal characteristics to be a successful entrepreneur.
