Introduction This Summary of Economic Development Terms is not intended to be a dictionary, but rather a reference, orientation manual and educational tool for new professionals or Economic Development board or advisory team members. Following are basic organizational aspects of the summary. Terms are listed in alphabetical order with the following exceptions: Terms commonly referred to via acronyms are listed alphabetically with the acronym first and the term second. Where there is some likelihood that the acronym might not be commonly known, the term is also listed alphabetically and referenced to the acronym location.
