EDUCATION vs. INDOCTRINATION Irina IOANA, Constantin-Edmond CRACSNER Ecological University of Bucharest, Romania DOI: Abstract: In recent years the concept of INDOCTRINATION has almost become synonymous with Islam. Madrasas are described as incubators for violent extremism and as jihadist factories. They are perceived as places where Muslims are indoctrinated in an ideology of intolerance, violence and hatred against the West. The concept of INDOCTRINATION is and will be increasingly used, given the current climate of religious resurgence, religious conflicts and inter-religiously motivated terrorism.
