Entrepreneurship education : Learning by Doing During the past two decades we've completely re-invented' the American economy. While this dramatic change has allowed us to remain the world's economic leader, young people are simply not being prepared to participate in this rapidly changing economic landscape. Youth entrepreneur- ship programs are an essential part of preparing boys and girls, young men and women, to take charge of their own economic destiny. George Gendron While the key concepts of Entrepreneurship can be taught at any time in a person's life, the atti- tudes and values associated with becoming a successful entrepreneur are more likely to develop if they are explored and nurtured at a young age. Teaching children about Entrepreneurship offers a career path, but more importantly, students learn of the economic and social benefits that entre- preneurs provide to their families, to their communities and to their country.
