On 9 September 2020, a notification this concerning was published in the RASFF portal ( ). The affected products were delivered to several member states and were used for the production of various processed foodstuffs. Until 20 November 2020, roughly 140 notifications concerning EO in sesame from India were notified within the RASFF portal with two of them being border rejections.
