School of Psychology, Deakin University December 2010 Acknowledgements Procedures and concepts within this Interview protocol have drawn on a number of areas of research, particularly child and adolescent psychology, Assessment and development; and child, adolescent and adult mental illness including alcohol and other drug misuse. This Interview is designed for use in clinical settings by those who have training and experience in clinical psychology settings, supported by appropriate clinical judgement and supervision.
are not being asked to complete a comprehensive interview process. It is estimated that the interview should take approximately 60 – 90 minutes to complete in entirety, but may be longer or shorter depending on the family members and the developmental history. This should be discussed with family members prior to their attendance.
