General DetailsProduct DescriptionGeneral Product Use1. Fiberon PE Decking and Fiberon PVC Decking shall be installed in accordance with the Fiberon Decking Installation Compliancever Page 1 of 104. Approved deck board fastening methods are shown in Table 3 and Table 4 of thisPER. Alternative fastening methods do not fall intothe scope of this PER and shall be subject to approval by the building Deck boards are intended for exterior use applications on structures regulated by the 2009, 2012, 2015 & 2018 IRC or Type VBconstruction in accordance with the 2009, 2012, 2015 & 2018 IBC. Deck boards may be used on balconies and similar projections onbuilding of Type III, IV&Vconstructionwherefiresprinklerprotec tionisextended into those areas in accordance with 2009, 2012, 2015 IBC , Exception 3 or 2018 IBC , Exception Surface fasteners shall be installed at a 90-degree angle to the Decking surface.
