ET, EAT, and ETR Sliding - stem Control ValvesFisher ET, EAT, and ETR general-purpose Control Valves (figures 1, 2, and 3) are used for throttling or on-offcontrol of a wide variety of liquids and gases. All threevalve designs have single ports, balanced valve plugs,and cage guiding. Metal-to-PTFE seating for stringentshutoff requirements is standard in all Valves exceptthose with Cavitrolt III cages. Metal-to-metal seatingfor higher temperatures is standard for Valves withCavitrol III cages and optional for all other temperature limits of ET Valves can be extendedabove 232_C (450_F) by using PEEK(PolyEtherEtherKetone) anti-extrusion rings incombination with a spring-loaded PTFE seal.
