The handbook was revised to remove the enrollment requirement for all Medicaid Mental Health targeted case management providers to have an active contract with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health (SAMH) district or regional office for the location in which the agency will provide services.
include the policy that targeted case management providers who deliver case management services only under contract with managed care organizations are not required to enroll in Medicaid as a mental health targeted case management provider.
