Mikos, Esq. During the last legislative session, the Florida Legislature passed a bill, commonly referred to as HB 699, which modifies certain aspects of physician supervision of advanced registered Nurse practitioners ( ARNPs ) who work in select office settings. The Governor signed the bill into law during late June 2006. A summary of the supervision changes was forwarded to Florida Nurses Association ( FNA ) members shortly thereafter.
