Flow of Water in Pipes Based on hazen -Williams Equation Prepared May 2011 PREFACE This booklet contains data tables for full flow in Pipes in English Units, and was prepared using the hazen -Williams Equation, standard hydraulic equations, conversions, and constants: This booklet is organized to quickly determine flow and headloss conditions for specific pipeline diameters. Major sections are presented for flow: Gallons per Minute (GPM), Million Gallons per Day (MGD), and Cubic Feet per Second (CFS) respectively. A range of standard C values were used for calculations of headloss over a reasonable range of velocities and flows .
