Full Professor, Gynecology Department, Unicamp,Campinas, S o Paulo, purpose of reporting this case is to show that we must be attentive with any type of Hysteroscopic surgery, since allare subject to complications which can lead to permanent injury and even death. The case described is that of a 72 yearold woman who underwent a diagnostic hysteroscopy for endometrial thickening.
