The government hasintroduced a number of measures to ensure expeditious disposal of pensioncases of retired government servants. Instructions/Orders were issued fromtime to time to facilitate retired government servants and their families incase of death of government servants. The Pakistan Public AdministrationResearch Centre of Establishment division being the sole agency toprepare, review, update and publish Administrative/ Establishment Codesand Manuals, have now reviewed and updated the Manual in consultation withthe finance division and Office of the Accountant General of PakistanRevenue and brought out this comprehensive revised edition-2006 whichincorporates all such policy guidelines and procedures for initiation andfinalization of pension cases without
