FOUR-STEP TRAINING PROCESS There are a variety of teaching strategies in use today; each attempting to allow the learners to progress satisfactorily toward a set of predetermined performance objectives. For many years, instructors have been using a teaching plan which has proven to be very effective. This plan is referred to as the FOUR-STEP TRAINING plan. The FOUR-STEP plan, like any other plan, must allow for flexibility of instruction and application. Any plan that is inflexible may not be any more satisfactory than no plan at all.
