1 Fourth WorldMovement/USAA nnual ReportApril 2004 - March 20052 Letter from the PresidentI am writing this introductory message to the Annual Report shortly after returning from a visit to theFourth World movement team in New Orleans. During four packed days, I attended a successful fundraiser, metmany supporters and friends of the movement , talked with other activists with whom we cooperate, and read ISpy with six-year-old Jim in a Street Library. Dinner on the last evening was with the team and a few long-timesupporters. As Bob and Dierdre Mauss drove me back to my room, Dierdre said, I think that this next yearis going to be a very good one for the Fourth World movement .
The National Center serves as place to welcome Fourth World Movement members for meetings and evaluations, poverty-related events at the nation’s capital, and people interested in learning more about the Fourth World Movement. The Center also supports the
