FT120 (USB Device Controller with Parallel Bus IC) The FT120 is a USB controller developed independently with close consideration of the industry classic, D12 chip. It communicates with a microcontroller over the generic parallel interface. The FT120 has the following advanced features: USB Full Speed compatible. High performance USB device controller with integrated SIE, endpoint buffer, transceiver and voltage regulators. Supports 8-bit parallel interface to external microcontroller. Supports DMA operation Integrated 320 bytes of configurable endpoint buffer Ping-pong buffer scheme for primary endpoint increases data transfer throughput Multiple interrupt modes to facilitate both bulk and isochronous transfers.
