Purchases are considered final and nonrefundable call 1-800-366-2661 for assistance Rev. 6-29-2020 GA VESSEL REGISTRATION / TITLE APPLICATION Georgia Law 52-7-4 requires that ALL mechanically propelled vessels AND sailboats over twelve feet in length that are used on waters of this state be registered. REGISTRATION is NOT required for: 1. Sailboats less than 12 ft. in length with no mechanical propulsion; 2. Canoes, kayaks, rowboats and rubber rafts that have no mechanical propulsion; and 3. Boats operated exclusively on private ponds or lakes. All required documentation must be submitted within 60 days of APPLICATION . After 60 days new APPLICATION and payment required.
To Use Temporary Registration, applicant must KEEP A COPY of completed application & a COPY OF PAYMENT while the boat is being operated (if mailed), have a copy of the online renewal receipt (if done online), or have a temporary authorization # in possession (telephone).
