Should the code be stamped between the third and fourth cylinder, it is a Buick built 455 Engine . In 1975 only, engines are identified by the fifth digit on the vehicle identification tag. If the serial number is stamped below the head on front of block on passenger side, the Engine is a Chevrolet built Engine .
