A clear understanding of this Generation 's perceptions and expectations about work and career-related issues will assist the federal government in formulating its recruitment and retention strategies. Thus, this study identified and examined career choice factors and public service perceptions among members of Generation Y. Research pertaining to Generation Y also known as Millennials is relatively new and additional research and literature continues to surface.
