GEORGIA STATUTORY FINANCIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY Instructions and Form INTRODUCTION The General Assembly enacted the Uniform POWER of ATTORNEY Act during the 2017 legislative session. Within this Act is a revised form for a POWER of ATTORNEY . While this new Act does not require that the new form be used, it does replace the former STATUTORY FINANCIAL POWER of ATTORNEY form previously in the law. The narrative that precedes the form, provides some guidance to understanding and instruction for executing the new form.
