Simpson TCU Institute of Behavioral Research (September 2006) TCU Mapping-Enhanced Counseling manuals provide evidence-based guides for adaptive treatment services (included in the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices, NREPP, 2008). They are derived from cognitive-behavioral models designed particularly for counselors and group facilitators working in substance abuse treatment programs.
Step 1 . Introduce the session topic. The subject we will cover over the next few weeks is motivation.Other words for motivation include inspiration, enthusiasm, driving force, desire, will, purpose, and incentive. We’re going to put motivation under the microscope and examine it, so to speak.
