Guidelines for Trauma Centers Caring for Burn Patients
Trauma centers that refer burn patients to a designated burn center must have in place written transfer agreements with the referral burn center (CD 14–1). It should be the responsibility of the trauma center and the burn center director to keep the transfer agreement current. Collaborative arrangements for the transfer
