Section 233a of the Michigan Vehicle Code (MCL ) requires the seller to give the buyer a written ODOMETER disclosure statement before delivery when vehicle ownership transfers, unless the vehicle is exempt from ODOMETER REQUIREMENTS (see Section 4-2 for exemption criteria).
