This condition continues until process demandceases. At this point, increasing PRESSURE overcomes springforce, moving the piston up, allowing the poppet to the downstream pressureshould increase beyondregulation set point, or handleis backed off to decreaseregulated PRESSURE level,downstream PRESSURE will ventthrough the piston and guide tothe vent port.
