HOW TO complete THE Customs declaration (IMPORT/EXPORT) FORM C-100 (SINGLE ADMINISTRATIVE DOCUMENT-SAD)The following is a brief guide for completing the Single Administrative Document(SAD).A "goods declaration " must be made to Customs for all goods and merchandisebeing imported into or exported from Belize. With the exception of some goodscarried as passenger's baggage or some postal parcels, the declaration shouldbe made using the prescribed Customs declaration (Import/Export) Form C-100(SAD).Details of exceptions can be obtained from Customs & is very important to understand that the lodging of a declaration by an importeror declarant indicates that the person concerned is declaring the goods inquestion for the Customs procedure shown on the document. In doing so, thedeclarant is accepting responsibility under the law for:a) The accuracy of the information given in the declaration ;b) The authenticity of the documents attached to the declaration ;c) The observance of all the obligations necessary under the declared though there is a brief pre-printed declaration on the form as to theaccuracy of the information it contains, the action of signing the document andpresenting it to Customs indicates a full acceptance of all form should be completed using a typewriter or a computer but may be filledin legibly by hand in ink using capital should be no erasure or overwriting on the forms.
