A child or young person has a Special Educational need if they have a learning difficulty or disability which calls for Special Educational provision to be made for them.
Around 19,000 children and young people in Oxfordshire have identified Special Educational Needs (SEN) and most of these are supported in their local mainstream school or foundation years setting. The majority of children and young people will have their needs met through additional help that is put in place by their setting or
