Writing Parts of an Article Title In the title, all nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, and subordinating conjunctions (If, Because, That, Which) should be capitalized. Capitalize abbreviations that are otherwise lowercase (i.e., use DC, not dc or Dc)
