Such challans are generated manually at different places and cash penalty is collected by use of manual receipt book. In case of non-payment, such challans are presented in court. This system has no track or reporting of challans in terms of challan numbers, penalty amount etc. there is no provision to retrieve such challan online, neither any pictorial evidence is there. Department feels the need of having a real time system where in automation can be done in this process of challanning with IT implementation.
