Revised on 01-07-2021 Page 1 of 15 STATE OF Florida AGENCY FOR HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATION OFFICE OF PLANS AND CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION FOR PROJECT REVIEW The following INFORMATION is intended to assist in the submission of plans and specifications for health facility construction to the Agency for Health Care Administration, Office of Plans and Construction. REVIEW by this office is required only for those facilities licensed and/or certified by the Agency and required by Florida Statutes to have plans reviewed by the Agency. These facility types include: Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC) and Intermediate Care Facilities for the developmentally disabled (ICF/DD). Plans and specifications shall also be submitted to the Agency for REVIEW of all detached outpatient facilities of hospitals that provide surgical procedures requiring general anesthesia or that administer conscious sedation, that provide cardiac catheterization services, or that are to be licensed as ASCs.
