Introduction to S88
• Putting together the control systems of several manufacturers into one systemwas a painful (if not hellish) task for engineers. S88 was written to resolve these problems and has been accepted as an international standard, including for Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). There are a lot of merits to adopting S88.
