PURPOSE The purpose of this document is to detail the gaps between the superseded standard ISO 9001: 2008 and the current standard ISO 9001: 2015 , to assist existing and potential clients assess their current Quality Management System and make the necessary changes to ensure that their systems as compliant. 2. DETAIL This gap Analysis Checklist is prepared for use in evaluating your Quality Management System (QMS) against the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 as you transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001: 2015 . Each requirement is expressed as a question that the user (auditor / assessor) can ask to evaluate your QMS capabilities. You will need to have copies of the ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 9001:2008 standards to use along with this Checklist so that you can refer to the requirements if necessary.
